Hey fellas and felloritas! I thought I posted this a while back, but reckon I forgot. This is a short I made using a stop-motion style paper-cutout approach. The character was animated and rendered in trueSpace 6.6. Camera matching was done in SynthEyes, and compositing was completed in After Effects.

Yep, you did post this before. The original must have got lost during the United3dArtists "we've been hacked" period.

Saw it before and still great! Knothole pep talk is great too. I watch that sometimes when I need a pep talk.

You all are very kind! Thanks so much!
I'm gathering resources for a long-short (or series) involving several characters living in a bizarre, backwards small town.
Planning to shoot it as a "found footage", which I've wanted to do for a long time. (Found-footage genre in animation makes no sense. LOL!)
So it would be a linear flow of loosely-connected clips from the video camera of an aspiring local documentary filmmaker, and the end result is just the tape, which was never edited properly.
My first feature was a mockumentary involving real people in a fictional situation, and I remain drawn to that approach... but animation opens up a whole new world of possibilities. (ie. Things that would be expensive to film, can be accomplished with animation.)
Thanks again for the feedback!
