There have been several of these mysterious question posts lately. That is, the poster posts only once and asks a question that at best is only vaguely related to the forum (I, of course, am always on topic ... sure.) Why? Mouse over the links in the signature. They are labeled "recipies" but lead to "medicine". These are spammers posting random questions to get their spam links here.

Well, to bring it all 'round to the topic at hand, I have to say that I prefer:

FYI, the thread started with a spammer post which Steinie annihilated. I just wanted to point out that this is an increasing pattern of this type of activity. If these are bots there may be plugins or countermeasures to keep them out. They have been getting past my defenses at my business site too, registering to make comments, but have failed to get comments posted. Formerly few got in so they have a new way to get in ... or it is people and not bots.

I liked to get the old hockey games (pong with two paddles each) into a pattern where the ball would repeat the course forever.

E.T. will not phone home for now: http://www.alamogordonews.com/alamogord ... department (Beware of possible gigantic adverts.)

When I was a lad... there's been a few wars since then..... you could change the:

at the bottom of the page into an image and it would stop the bots, the Powered by phpBB is what they search for
