Re: What Software do you own/use?
Instead of listing all what i have got which also includes big packages like Cinema 4d , Lightwave 9.6, Modo 302, carrara 6 pro,Truespace 3,2-4-6,6-7.61,zbrush 3
I rather tell you what I always come back to
and thats
Moi3d for nurbs and technical Silo 2 for sds Sketchup Pro for everything that got wall like buildings
now for textures Headus and 3d coat and occasionaly use image ink from Modo 302
now for animation I just love to use the puppetteer function from the free daz studio 3 and it exports as Collada
and use poser to funnel things into Vue.(animate ....animeeple)
i even set up my own characters in this duo and dont rely on Poser content !!!
All the speciality animation stuff like fluids come from Blender
Although I have a test version that came on a 3d world disc for realflow and for trees i also have xfrog from 3d world
that all goes into a funnel and thats Vue 6 Inf and Kerkythea although i have Vray(which I use occasionaly).
I am heavily considering getting into Thea beta
and for postpro and maps etc. Photoshop and Paintshoppro and a few other
Compositing is Combustion and special effects is particle illusion SE

Re: What Software do you own/use?
Greetings,
Here's my list. Like everyone else, I'm really good with some programs and I'm clueless with others. If I was to pick the programs that I'm most proficient with it would be Adobe Illustrator CS2, Photoshop CS2, Visual Basic, and all of the Harris Tech speaker design and photography programs (which I authored). I used to be an Adobe beta tester many years ago (Illustrator and Photoshop) and I've taught a few Photoshop workshops to Media Photographers. The programs that I'm weakest in would be Blender (which I've never seriously tried to use) and Premiere Elements 7 (which I just got for a future project). While I've used trueSpace since its beginning, I've mostly dabbled and I've forgotten more than I ever learned---so I'd rate my ability with it at a novice level. I have a number of exciting and huge 3D projects stacking up for the future so I expect the trueSpace situation to change dramatically by the end of next year.
I decided to make my list a little more detailed in case someone has a question about a program that I use. Some I like and some I don't like but have to use anyway. Regarding trueSpace, it would be nice to see what add-ons each person is using. Perhaps some who have already posted could go back and add them to their lists so we can all see what they use.
