Hi,
Just discovered today Truespace was not dead !
I still own a license of the last one but when Roman Ormandy anounced the sale to Microsoft I decided to have a look elsewhere
I downloaded the huge Legacy_Edition_V1.2 from Flat2D but with my QHD screen (2560x1440) it is pretty unusable because icons and fonts are too small. I tried the windows 10 scaling but without success...
Any tips to improve it ?
Regards
Phil

Re: Truespace UI
I have the same screen and not having problem... have you tried clean reinstall? Or try compatibility options in a windows shortcut you have probably on desktop. Just be aware that the "model" space (DX7) doesnt run when you have the window greater than xy ammount of width (px), i think the limit is about 2000 px or so. It stops to draw. OpenGL works even in full QHD.

Re: Truespace UI
In fact the software works perfectly but I wanted to find a solution to scale the UI.
I can go to 1920x1080 with my BenQ PD3200Q but it is not the native screen resolution ...

Re: Truespace UI
Have you tried setting up a custom DPI setting?
Go over to the Compatibility tab, enable “Override High DPI scaling behavior” and set the Scaling Behavior to “System (Enhanced).”
Restart the app and move it between your different displays to see if there is an improvement.
You may also notice that when I ran the compatibility troubleshooter, Win10 suggested using Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)
Right click on the application icon and click “Properties.”
Go over to the Compatibility tab, enable “Override High DPI scaling behavior” and set the Scaling Behavior to “System (Enhanced).”
Restart the app and move it between your different displays to see if there is an improvement.

Re: Truespace UI
i dont know... this is normal size. It has always been this big (just on smaller screens). This is how its supposed to look like.

Ok need to change my glasses ant put some magnifying glass ...
Re: Truespace UI
You just need to change font size on your windows screen options..to something like 150% ...that works!
