OK, Got trueSpace 7.61 combo with no updates only VRay added...NOW, Installed FBX Import-Export work fine & delete it from the link editor. Panel shows & single icon toolbar on 3D Workspace View but restart tS & it is gone...
What do I have to save as layout of some sort to keep it from disappearing & then how to get it back without reinstalling?
Thanks.....

That's strange. There should be 2 icons after fbx is installed. There should also be a red toolbox icon. The golden icon button in the same column would restore the toolbar.

Thanks for reply ClintonMan...
Uhh, I don't got the golden icon, what is that? The FBX plug I installed I got from your site a couple years ago, is it different from a newer or older type-version?

Yep, it's old.
The new one requires installation of what I call persistent scripts which makes it possible for the scripts and toolbars to survive a context reset.
If you context reset with the old version you have to reinstall it to get the button back.

Wow...2 years and it's old?...The wonders of modern science...
I guess I'll have to travel over to your site & catch up with the newer versions...
Thanks......

Sure thing.
Not all the scripts on the site have been translated to the persistent style. For those you can save a context file. The context saves everything including toolbars and scripts and scene. Saving a layout would save the ui arrangement including the toolbars and the scene, but not the scripts. Saving the scene only saves the scene contents.
