Blender 2.8 add mesh question
When I add and object in B2.80 it's properties panel, lower left, is sometimes active and sometimes not. What am I doing wrong? I found no info on this searching the web so far.

If you do anything, even just click after creating something the panel will disappear. It's only good right after the creation process.

True but that's not the problem here. The problem is that the panel is not good right after the creation process. It is inactive. Grayed out. The fields on it can't be used to modify the object.clintonman wrote: ↑26 Sep 2019, 18:29If you do anything, even just click after creating something the panel will disappear. Looks like it could be a theming issue? Try change things even if it looks greyed out.

"inactive", "can't be used to modify the object".

Re: Blender 2.8 add mesh question
I reset to factory default settings and now the panel works ... so far. So there is some preference or setting that breaks it. Maybe I'll stumble onto which setting that is as I set things back the way I like. Thanks everyone for the suggestions!
Edit: Restore the Preferences defaults. Edit->Preferences->three lines icon lower left. That keeps your scene and objects. You must save preferences to keep that even if auto save is on.
