D3CRYPT3D 3D Encryption Software Beta

Post by D3CRYPT3D »

Hey, my name is Chloe, and a crew of us made a program that Encrypts your 3D assets. It's called D3CRYPT3D. We just launched the beta and would love for you to register, test it out, and give us any feedback you may have. We just want to make an amazing product and finally get 3D artists the credit they deserve.

Here is the link to download the software- http://d3crypt3d.net/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (click "TRY D3CRYPT3D NOW" on the home page)

Check out our feature with Stranger Things lead concept artists, Nuttavut-

Note: D3CRYPT3D is only available for PC right now, but will be available for Mac very soon!

Thanks!

Could be used to protect intellectual property? You know how a CG model or such for sale by its owner gets stolen and put all over the web for free or sold by the thief. Same problem with software, movies, music, writings ... too many thieves and too easy to copy. However, there are already many ways to encrypt files and 3D assets are files. Their website probably says why this product is better.

That is correct and thank your for your comment! Our software is intended to stop the theft of 3D assets which artists work super hard to create. Our software also provides for asset tracking and has a calling card feature where by the file when opened and still encrypted, displays the artists name and contact info promoting them and allowing for one to contact the artist in order to gain proper access to the asset.

Proud to announce we just put in the calling card feature on our beta today!

Just made a how to video. We made it where anyone who has your model will actually have a calling card to get in touch with the author/owner of the 3d object. Only the author/owner has the encryption key. Super excited about this new feature. Currently working on the IOS version. There will be many new additions in 2017 but thanks everyone for the input on our product. Hopefully we can get some control back into the artists hands. Have a good one guys!

and here's a dorky video we made explaining what we do.

That calling card feature is interesting for.. the copyright. Curious. Might be good for selling stuff say for 3D printing or on online markets I suppose!
