Place two objects in Modeler, paint them with different texture,
Then switch to Workspace, and do a boolean operation (add substract, it doesn't matter)
Switch back to Modeler side.
The textures are gone.
Does anyone know a trick to keep the textures ?

Re: Bridge question : keep texture after WS boolean
There is a trick that keeps the materials on the WS side over the bridge, as the bridge often rewrites LW materials, or WS materials into LW materials. If you sync your MS to the WS, then preserve the materials using the bridge material backup script - then you can do the boolean, reapply the backup, then sync back.

Thank you Draise,
There is an even easier trick I just found !
In Workspace boolean options panel, the mode of operation is set to 'Flatten Result' by default.
If you switch it to Control Mesh, there is no texture information loss !
That was that simple
