hi i would really like it if someone could post a tutorial about preparing a truespace model for use in daz studio. i want to be able to convert a Ts object to a Daz format and i want to give it joints.

if someone could do this i would be SO grateful.

Just wait a little bit...
Daz 4 is out now and its different and easier then it was before and you can now paint the dependencies...

I did a short one for you on preparing and exporting from Truespace and importing into Daz for rigging with setup tools.

please excuse the mess I am testing a new site. Not sure if i will keep it up long.

Here is the folder with the .py script in it to make it easy. It was scanned by norton360 and zipped for safety but you should scan it anyway with your virus scanner. http://www.jagged3d.com/Files/Export%20 ... groups.zip

Hope it helps and good luck.

You are welcome hope it helps. I updated the links to the new site so you can still get the python script there or you can look it up in the silo forum.
Also I added 4 new video's to the Daz tutorial page.

Sadly, many of the older links are dying all too fast. Perhaps, someone has a copy they could share. If I come across anything I'll post a link.
