I think the colors/lighting create a look similar to Nightmare Before Christmas/Tim Burton.

Funny you should say that...first page is colourful and as we go into his dreams it goes into the purple/black/blue stuff.

Not too colourful mind...I want to keep it quite dark but there will certainly be more 'warm' colours...will post a pic tonight.

Now this one is strictly WIP including the text which is more like a sketch idea...

Think I may well go with this for the cover...
