Just a question: what is "tortoise and the H'Air"? My poor english can
Well I think this is a play on words. The H'Air (Hare) is really "Hot Air"
Bob, your just too good for me :worship: I'm really going to have to get more inventive with my titles.

Thanks for all the kind comments guys.

Phew!!! Well I've finished all the pipework, fittings, framework, boiler and gas tank and there's still loads to do

I think I'm starting to realise how much work I've made for myself here. :!:

Anyways, that's one big chunk finished. If anyone's interested including bump, color and trans maps there is a total of 53 maps so far!!!

Comments and crits please

Judging by the overwhelming response from my last post I can tell your all gagging for more so here's another update.

This is great, absolutly. Which program do you use for Texture Mapping?

Everyone is gagging for more. I've been watching and learning. Everyone expects this level of excellence from you so sometimes commenting "great" etc. is just redundant.

Did you create custom a custom texture for the rear leather part? If so was it hand drawn in Paint Shop, Photoshop, etc.?

Thanks guys, sorry for the little poke but sometimes my fragile ego needs a little boost

A making of video would give LOTR a run for its money in the epic stakes. Including the 2 DVD extended versions

The leather texture started life as a photo as do most of my textures but there is a lot of tweaking pasting and poking to get it looking like this.

I do my UV work with Headus UV mapper and sometimes UV mapper pro. But all my textures are made with good old Paint shop pro 7 (yes 7 how ancient is that!!!)

Thanks again

...and the stitching in the leather caught my eye.
Just outstanding texture work!

I use Paint Shop Pro 7 too!

When you have time, and if you want to, I'm interested in details of how you create your textures. The tweaking pasting and poking. Is there already a tutorial or some material from you about that around?
