Setting up VRay and the GI panel

Post by MikeNTX »

Ok I am not new to tS, I had it since V5. I currently have v7.61 and Vray 1.53 and most of the time I work in the modeler mode. When I first upgraded to tS and VRay I could right click on one of the render buttons and it would pop up on the far right side the Photo Render panel where I can chose which renderer to use. This still works. But i used to be able to right click on the renderer button again and then i would get the BI panel on the far right so that I could set shadow, global illumination, and SSS settings. This no longer works and I am sure it is because I made some change. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can get this to work again?

Not sure what you mean by BI panel.
Also not sure why they have so many different places to specify which render engine to use!
Is what you're looking for hidden beneath the non-apparent 'Vray/ Default' dropdown?

I meant GI panel which I see is called the VRAY panel. I fixid it just now by closing out all the panels and then right click on the render button and they came back.
