Hey James! good job on the piano pendant, did you just use a plane and texture the necklace?

Got a piano key necklace done.

The mesh necklace is just a shader that I purchased and idea for meshes. The keys are modeled and then used a bend modifier on both.

Here's an unrendered version in Carrara's Assembly room.

Speed modeling! Just because we combined the challenges doesn't mean we gave up speed modeling. Good topic S_Tiny.

Drugs_R_Bad

Just the capsule was modeled in Hexagon. It was then applied to a segmented line with copy on support for the necklace and a cylinder was use as the host for the bracelet. Segmented lines were thickened in Hexagon.

Naw, I used an extruded line (circle) for the surface with some thickness. Then in Carrara, I added a shader which has transparency, but shows the pattern of the necklace mesh.

Steinie, may I use the DAZ figure (see wip) to model jewelry? Not sure if that fits in the rules. Even if it is ok voters might think I made the character from scratch.

Yes that will be OK as long as it is stated in the description.

Thanks. Will make it's source clear. Might or might not use it since fitting the jewelry to it is difficult. Also might cut up the DAZ model (sounds psychotic!) and modify to make a neck-and-shoulders display like at store jewelry counters. Focus on the jewelry first then presentation.
