SMC #68: Forbidden Fruit

Subjects:
- make any fruit you like. Exotic, less exotic, doesnt has to be forbidden (that was just to spice up the SMC title :D)

The Rules:

1) You can use any 3D software you want.
2) Model(s) must be created within a 4 hour time limit.
3) Rendering, Lighting, and Texturing are not included within the 4 hour time limit.
4) You may enter as many times as you wish.
5) Each entry is restricted to 1 beauty render at 800 x 600 pixels.
6) Each entry is also to include a wireframe screen grab (before subdivision if used).
7) Each entry must be clearly named for voting purposes.
8) Each entry must include the time spent, software and render engine used.

Entry Deadline:

Midnight on Friday 25th November 2011.

Voting poll will start right away and will end on Wednesday 30th November, when I will anounce the winner.

Modeled in Truespace, rendered and textured in Softimage. They hands I didn't make, as my coworker did it. The eyes took maybe an hour, as I titivated them from another character, and the rest, including mouth, took one sitting. I think I did border on 6 hours..... but.... but... does that disqualify me? :P

He's strictly forbidden to the girls for obvious reasons!

Due to breaking the rules, decided to enter again! As it was not against the rules! :lol: :P

Hands: made by me - 1.25 hours, truespace 7.6 Rosetta
Body: also made by me - 1.20mins, truespace 7.6 modelside (had trouble importing it into Rosetta, so accidentally froze the SDS, silly me, and triangulated it to an OBJ, so it doesn't contain it's SDS!!)
Eye: 10mins, truespace 7.6 Rosetta (those were easy)
Wall.... just a cube with a parva pack car paint texture. Funky for realtime. (Technically you can put realtime reflections with a nifty camera to texture environment map with a blurry post processor. didn't bother in this example, but check out this post http://united3dartists.com/forum/vi ... =11&t=3035!!)

Total: 2hr 55 mins

Modeling Time: 3.5 hours
Texture Time: About 2 hours.
Render Time: About 30 seconds.
TS 7.6 model side. Rendered with Lightworks. Textures made with Paint Shop Pro.
