We have 'Short Term Plans' topic, so I thought I would start a related thread.
I visited this place in 1991 and 1995, and it's never left my mind.
I would like to go back before I'm too old and decrepit to enjoy it.

I'm so obsessed with it I have it's own section on my links roundup page.

I won't have as far to drive to see this one.
Re: Long Term Goals
dont be so sure about that....I didnt realy see the last one here around 1999! Heavy clouds! But it was still quite spooky! It suddenly turned much darker and a very cold wind came up..and the birds and animals went totaly bongers...! I was next to the woods...!!!

Re: Long Term Goals
That's true. Early April in US Midwest is not reknowned for sunny dry weather. I stayed flexible with my plans last time and it worked out so here's hoping the luck returns.
Here is a nice tool that should be handy for planning: https://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/SEsearch/ ... l=20240408
If I had mad money I'd fly off to an arid region of Mexico for the occasion.

Re: Long Term Goals
My long term plan is to replace my current business with some other self employment. I don't know what or how or when but I think there are plenty of possibilities that would be better for me.

Re: Long Term Goals
Goal, be free of my current client project. I have 3 of them, and capacity for only 1. I'm burning myself thin.
