3D Benchmarks with Character Editor

Post by Cellulo » 31 Jan 2018, 18:09

Just found this cool character creator from Phantasy star online 2 universe EPISODE 4, you can create your character, save it and see it in action in the benchmark, also useful if you want create character manga style for your drawings just take screenshots when you are in the character editor.

1) Here the Phantasy star online 2 benchmark EPISODE 4 download in japanese:

http://pso2.jp/benchmark/download/, Click the big blue button in the middle of the page and choose the second button that appear to download the file.

2) Here the patch to translate the UI in english.

https://pso2.acf.me.uk/Manual/, you need to take the "patch 2017 01 24.zip" file and extract the files in the "win32" folder, where the benchmark is installed, this overwrites files.

When you launch for the first time the program from the icon ( see the dragoon head) on the desktop, a window appear with all buttons in japanese,

1) click on the second button to set your graphics settings, ( the first button launch the program to access the character editor and launch the benchmark test)
2) a windows settings appear over the first window opened.
3) you can begin to set your settings but don't forget the top tabs in japanese words to see more settings.
4) when you are happy with your settings click the first button in lower-left to save your settings, ( the second button reset the settings.)
5) Now click the fourth button in lower right to close the window.
6) In the previous window already opened click the first button to launch the program.
7) After that it's easy all words are in english a part the first button in japanese that launch the benchmarck test, don't forget to check some new graphics settings in the option.
8) Create you character in the character editor and save the data with a name, to reload it the next time, and also see it in the benchmark test. A really cool benchmark.

Just found similar benchmarks as above but in final fantasy 14 universe, create your character, save it and see it in action in the benchmark test.

Final fantasy XIV: Stormblood Official Benchmark: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/benchmark/; size (1.9gb)

Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward Benchmark: http://gdl.square-enix.com/ffxiv/inst/f ... -bench.zip; size (1.6gb)

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Benchmark Character Benchmark: http://gdl.square-enix.com/ffxiv/inst/F ... racter.zip; size (2.6gb)

The missing character editor i wanted to add is the "Black desert online character editor" but i don't find a link to download it.

EDIT: renamed the post and added new benchmark.
EDIT2: Added more benchmarks.
