Mocap tech is getting better using video without the dots or sensors on the actor. Especially facial movements. I think that will work better for walking and such if they use dual cameras so it has depth perception.

I saw a youtube video on mocap software and it looked very cool. It included a plugin for Maya and the creator says that you can run the ap on a standard PC.
