Raytracing Options Max Depth Rendering Crash

Post by Wigand »

I noticed that TS-Rendering (Vray) crashes if I increase the amount of Max Depth somewhere over 500.
I did not test the relation to other parameters, but there seems to be a not controlled limit.

not controlled limit is one of the most common bug. We can just hope that a bug like this don't exist on a plane. ;)

Looks like the limit is 32.
Not sure if this has anything to do with Vray, I am guessing this is a Lightworks rendering option. Nevertheless this PhotoRender panel has issues, for instance you can not change the Render Engine.

I forgot to mention that I found it in workspace.

There are still buttons and controls (raytracing options in workspace) which seem to do nothing
and others seem to do something. But I never knew what knobs are still important. (for Vray)
