Mappy Map Maps
I'd like to hope there's a little trueSpace DNA in there somewhere...

I could have sworn I saw a one eyed avatar in the Rome map. (or was that a Roman map...)

Re: Mappy Map Maps
Any Win 8 users feel like trying it out and Reporting Back?
First time I've felt like upgrading from Win7.
Map addiction... it's not a pretty thing.
Also, new Google Maps coming out but you need to join Google +.
That's not happening.

Re: Mappy Map Maps
I've been trying to install it...Success... COOl. Tried it out. I must admit though, not EVERYTHING is in 3D. Only some areas. It is nice to use, even with mouse.. haven't tried the touch. the 3D is very cool though when there is 3D. The rest is kinda slow to load, unlike Google Earth.... But once loaded it's very sharp and pretty. Only some countries have it all it seems, not all countries. Must be a WIP. but it's fun to use, I like it, specially the vertical labeling in 3D view, perfect. The little street view bubble, couldn't figure it out well, but it works with the rotate and everything.

Re: Mappy Map Maps
The detail is impressive though. Other than the melting fence and the wobbly carpark in the shadows, it's quite impressive, oh and the melting vehicle in the middle there.
