New TSX - MotionStudio Contraints

Post by DesignDevil »

MotionStudio Constraints (MSC) is my next upcoming plugin for tS v6.6 or above (Modeler). With it you can create contraints between MotionStudio Joints an any normal polyhedron object. See video for more details. I just have to fix a few minor bugs but i think in the next days it will come out. I hope someone find it useful.

PS: i uploaded the video right now, maybe it needs a few minutes until the HD version is ready.
I still use TrueSpace 6.6

I like the jellyfish on youtube! Very good!
Is MSC your creation? Do you think to broadcast it on Internet?

He posted the jellyfish on the Animation Contest! It's a strong candidate...

Yes, MSC is my creation - in the next day's i put it on my website. I give the information here. I had to test it a bit more and (if there is one) to fix bugs. But it seems to do a good job so far :)

I remember tiles mentioned on the other forum that motion studio has some issues with modeler, does anyone remember what they were? I'm going to load it up again, and I was wondering whether to go reinstall 6.6.

Waooo, an other awesome plugin and a great video to learn it in a minute !

It is always impressive how some little "user interface" tools can improve everyday workflow.
I am sure this new one will be a very helpful tool and a must-have companion for Mostu. Many thanks !

The problems I found is that it's a little bit buggy...it can crash if you load the object and motionstudio isn't activated, and you can't scale the object up and down once you've rigged it up with bones, the bones don't scale but the object does, so when you come to pose your character next their shins are sticking out their elbows, maybe there's a nother plugin request for you DD...being able to resize objects that have bones

Great work on the current plugin DD, I'm definately going to find a use for this...a question though, will you be able to attach an object that also mas motionstudio bones?
