Scaling a object with bones (MoStu Bones !!!) is possible.

DESELECT in the MotionStudio Menu the points OPTIONS -> AUTO TRANSFORM JOINTS & AUTO DRILL-DOWN SELECT.

Now right click on the SKELETON and choose SELECT. Now scale your object.
I still use TrueSpace 6.6

So... I don't visit for a few months (ok... maybe a bit more) and all this cool stuff is going on!!!

NICE! I see it as being incredibly useful, as I'm forever clicking the skeletons and joints from the list. Looks pretty intuitive to me!

No it is not finished. To many problems or in other words with trueSpace plugin functionality is was not possible to solve these problems.
I still use TrueSpace 6.6
