Re: trueSpace 3.2 & 4.2
I use TS 7.6 model side. The only part really finished. Because TS 6.6 have not hdri render and TS 7.61 have a problem with the model side (setting of the hdri not saved on the .scn) It is not a problem to work on model side and forgot the other side with bridge off. Multithreading with Lightwork on...

Re: Is Truspace still relevent in 2018?
I use trueSpace all the day for my work. It is the only software i need. No need compatibility. From the beginning until the end of my career I would have used a single 3d software. Ts. do you imagine the time saved during my life? No need to learn. Never. My work is to find idea. Only that. I still...

Re: The important thing is to have fun.
@ Bitkar if I had done it for myself, I would have done it in the day. But it is much more difficult to please a customer who changes his mind often. That's why I use a method adapted to frequent modifications. The model must be clean and usable for the industry. It will be integrated in a metal med...

Re: The important thing is to have fun.
@Rayman : The eagles are not only for this pictures. I use it for the fun but they was made for a real project of cognac bottle. I needed a real and clean 3d with some control. Extrude from a picture was not good for this kind of volume (for a terrain, a letter or a texture is ok) and it is a creati...

Re: The important thing is to have fun.
No post processing. Only a little contrast.
Entire scene is 130k polys (most for the ivy).
The eagle is only 2400 polys (with sds for the render)

Re: The important thing is to have fun.
it works well on Windows 10.
Some problems of screen refresh in edition mode (I double click on the tab button to solve the problem. The simplest way).
The size of the windows supported by Direct X is limited but no limitation with Open GL.
Here is a wire OpenGL.

The important thing is to have fun.
Can we still use an old software?
Here is an example modeled and rendered with the modelside (old trueSpace).
Starting from nothing and without plugin.

Not a raptor. I called it "homosaurus"
It is a human musculature posed on a skeleton of Deinonychus. Nothing realistic.

For my work I also do drawings by hand (pencil) for presentations of new perfume projects to the media.
