Not limited to ATI cards, I've used it both on Nvidia and ATI cards. If your video card is DX9 or better it should work.

Please let me know what you think on submitted animation in the 2010 01 animation contest thread. You probably will need to go to YouTube and view at 720p to see sun animation.
