Re: Weevil's Hangar

Hope I haven't disapointed with getting something realistic onto the model then. Unfortunately, I don't like blender...it sort of rubs me the wrong way, I'll stick with TS for now When I have time I'll de-construct it all and show you the quick tricks I did to get this rolling, but still not quite f...

Re: What the ....!?

Right click on the gray bar instead of left, you'll get to browse for the files, left click opens up thumbnail viewing, right click opens up your typical "open file" layout, I'm assuming you use the modelside texture editor though, I wasn't too sure what you were talking about But just as ...

Re: How can we grow our community and support our developers?

Masybe I should clarify there..."Officially" unsupported, after all there is no Caligari customer service and the team's moved onm unnofficially however indeed it is a different story, one which this forum justifies You've hit an interesting point, why not use Trueserve that came with the ...

Re: How can we grow our community and support our developers?

Well, I'd be willing to crank up my old Phantom tutorial if it'll help, but what we'd be encouraging is to bring new users onto a very out of date program, one that'll get older as time goes by Now for once First Light I'm not going to argue with you (makes a change eh? XD) but we've got to consider...

Re: Another future artist coming

I wasn't actually talking about seperate forums, I was talking about "language X" to be spoken in the current forums we have, in a similar fashion to what Marcel did, perhaps that was not made clear enough. First phrase: Simply put was banter, do not read into it so seriously, do not assum...

Re: Weevil's Hangar

Thanks Rayman, I believe I saw that one back on the old Cali-forum, and if I forgot to mention then it's a great piece of texturing work, it's no secret I tend to just jump over texturing from time to time and you rightly say, it's a lot easier with just many planear maps, now it's just a matter of ...

Re: Another future artist coming

First light please back off a bit instead of misreading minor points that you believe are insults directed at you or any other party and for the sake of reading enjoymeant please moderate your tone. Debates are really only fun if no-one takes the hump. Now as you rightly pointed out what's the point...
