Workspace light color protection is via the Material checkbox.

Lights / Cameras protects the workspace camera FOV, the spotlight cone angle and the lights map size and enable shadows values.
It protects the light map size and shadows by exporting connectors.

I changed Protect Workspace so the time gets cleared, so there's no need to add extra commands outside to fix it.
I removed the unneeded nodes inside Synchronize used for name backup. That is handled in the Protect Workspace.

I'll look at the light color next.

You're right. the "Remove Backup Scene Data" is in there. It just wasn't in the Synchronize code.
I added it to the synchronize, default the value to true and the names protection works now.
