Re: Am I Blue?
I found this in the FAQ at Caligari... The same question and answer is also included in our trueSpace FAQs . You have to scroll down a ways to find it. (I which we had a way to create a jump point with BBCode so I could create an index that would link to specific questions in the post like you can ...

Re: Why that UI ?......(analysing)
Hi RAYMAN, In general, I have to strongly disagree. I mean no disrespect---I enjoy your posts. However, I think these weird UIs are more about vanity than anything else. Their programmers (or designers) simply refuse to consider the user's perspective and they go off on their own ego-driven path. I...

Re: netframework 3.5 and Direct X
I thought about suggesting this, also, but decided against it because dxdiag.exe is not on all computers---even when DirectX is installed---and it surely won't be on the computer if DirectX is not installed.chamaeleon wrote:You could run dxdiag.exe from Start->Run...

Re: Will trueSpace return under another name?
... like they did with Blender... Hi theuns, I could be wrong, but as I understand it, the original creator of Blender raised the capital to buy the program back from the public company that had purchased it when they purchased his orignal company. The trueSpace equivalent would be for Roman Ormand...

Hi 3dvisuals dude, Thanks for the links ... but I have a question: You wrote that the plugin is "hacked" but your link doesn't provide any further information (it just starts the download). Is the original plugin a commercial product or is it freeware? (We don't want to contribute to boot...

Re: Which movie editor?
Hi Kurt, The king of video editing on a PC is Adobe Premiere. But you don't have to spend US$640-700 for the professional CS4 version. You can get the consumer-oriented Premiere Elements 7 for about US $50-65 . It has many of the features of the pro version for about 1/10th the cost. That's my firs...

Re: netframework 3.5 and Direct X
Hi bkjernisted, I don't know the answer to your first question about the Microsoft .net framework but I doubt that you would need to install it separately. If it is needed, I would expect to be included with the trueSpace installer. As for DirectX, it is a requirement that your computer already hav...

Re: Will trueSpace return under another name?
I read somewhere that tS development has continued beyond the last available version, and that it is simply just no longer being called trueSpace. Is it possible that tS could return in the future as a re-named, re-branded product aimed at a different market? Hi moogaloonie, "I read somewhere&...
