Re: please help workspace 7.61

If you right click the object to enter into the edit mode you can add vertices which can later be moved to extrude from that point. You can also use the polygon draw tool in the edit menu to add/draw on a hightlited face which can also be selected and moved to extrude/sweep it. BNG. :bananatyping:

You can play around with the settin...

Re: TS 6.6 manual

Is there a PDF version available for TS 6? I have the one for 7.6, but not much of is related to version 6. Does anyone know where to download a version for TS 6? Thanks, BNG. :worship:

I mostly use TS 6 in the 7.6 package

I model for an older modable game called BZII Combat Commander. I use TS 6 because the older X exporter is ideal for making XSI models and props for the game. I convert the X models back and forth between X and XSI; an older version no longer supported by Softimage. I use an older 1.5.5. version of ...

Simple way to apply spacing to a UV map

I posted this how to on another forum about UV mapping in TS. The process is fairly simple and uses the bounding box after a cubic map is applied to a model. The spacing results in the UV editor when dragging the box away from the center of the model. :bananahi: http://www.bzuniverse.com/forum/index...

Using the attach object to bone tool

I model for an older video game that allows 3d model makers to make custom props and fighting units to add to the game. I'm making a custom pilot figure that the player controls to fly around in the game. The attach object to bone tool is a neat way to build a human skeleton and attach rounded cylin...

How to convert X and XSI models back and forth.

Tools you'll need are as follows: 1. A working copy of 3DEX 1.5.5. do a web search to locate it. 2. A 3d modeling package that supports editing Directx model files like GSL or TS 7.6.
