Re: Which is the Better render for this: Yafaray vs Blender

Just my opinion, but I think it's still too shiny. It may be the scale. It reflects/refracts (whatever) too wide/long an area at any given moment. The reflected area should be tighter as the light hits it, and have more 'reflective detail' per square meter if you're going for massive.

Re: Railroad Crossing

Great job Tahnoak.

Steinie's point about the darks being too harsh I agree. The only suggestion I have is that maybe the pole size needs to be slightly bigger overall. Overall it's looking great though (really like the tire rubber on ground; helps realism)

This is looking Beautiful Breech! Bond was a childhood hero of mine. Not for the girls, but because of his toys. Great job on this.

Very nice work folks. It's great when there's only 4 choices, and still hard to pick just one :)

Re: Welcome to all newcomers

Thank you Leon :) I see this place has kept it's 'inclusive' nature intact. Beautiful. Will be posting something soon then. slicer4ever - from what I understand Froo has done a wonderful job of creating something for that. I haven't used it yet sadly but definitely will. I am working with a bunch of...

Re: Welcome to all newcomers

Thanx Finis! Nice to see you here. Lately been using a variety of programs, trying to cement what my personal workflow/pipeline will be so what finished models I Can show are not exclusively tS. tS is my main 'start' modeler, and then... it's a free-for-all. Don't know if it's appropriate here; it w...
