Re: Which movie editor?

....Any processing I need is done in paint shop pro with batch processing of frames by script or rendered via whatever 3d program or layered and pimped-out in pIllusion and output to a frame sequence for assembly. :( Now, that's intriguing, Burnart! Are you saying it's possible to move video footag...

Not yet, Leon. I decided to persevere with Premiere before I abandon it altogether.

Re: Which movie editor?

I spoke too soon, FirstLight. Premiere is giving me all kinds of grief. Adobe's forums are full of very helpful people who help out, but the more I read the more I suspect Premiere is not the NLE it used to be.

Do you use it yourself?

Kurt.

Re: Which movie editor?

I use EditStudio ( http://www.mediachance.com/ ) to create, cut and adding sound to my videos. BUT i don't encode with it - sometimes it crashes if i want do encode directly in xvid, divx or something. I create first a uncompressed avi that works always. To encode the "final" video i then use Virtu...

Re: Games, wasting of life?

It's easy to realize that studies always have an sponsorship and usually it tends to be towards to the sponsor... But it's not unanimous, it's the same to say that all music success are launched by a Studio and not because of the quality of the music, but happens and a lot, so we just need to filtr...

Re: Games, wasting of life?

Kurt, your post is a good example of some fake study tactics. I doubt that you did that deliberately and don't mean to imply that you did. Finis, I take it you mean when I said "But it is equally true that correct and valid results of studies will often be ignored or discredited by other people who...

Re: Games, wasting of life?

"Studies" are unreliable. They are often commissioned or produced by activist or agenda groups that get, or simply invent, exactly the results they want -- support for their views regardless of the facts. Probably it has always been that way. Even the slightest examination of the alleged methods or...

Re: Games, wasting of life?

For an example of a very bad study..... Interveiw: 500,000 prisoners currently surving time in a corrections facility. ages 18 - 30. Did you play video games when you were a child? answer yes to 85% - video games cause crime. Now if you look at what I grew up with, Cartoons. I still say Tom and Jer...

Re: Games, wasting of life?

Kurt you're absolute Right! Other side is that Games are too efficient in distressing but with no other benefit..... That's exactly right, Leon. Sure, it relieves some kinds of stress problems a little, but there are many other things that people can do to relieve stress and at the same time gain a...
