Re: IK Handel Rig Videos

Hi froo,

Originally, the limit was 2 MB per file. But I vaguely remember Prodigy upping it to 4 MB. Either way, it's way below what you need.

Re: Python - capture a Button Click

Hi DesignDevil, I'm not sure if this will help, but I ran across a couple of old "ScriptManager" Python tutorials on the Caligari website . They are by Jonathan W. Taylor from 1998/1999 (trueSpace 4). You probably already know this, but just in case you don't: The home for Python is www.python.org ...

Re: What the ....!?

Hi Kurt, Regarding the computer having trouble, I would get a good diagnostic program and test your computer---especially its memory. I use CheckIt by Smith Micro. It used to be bundled as a part of Norton SystemWorks. What you want to do is test your CPU and your memory for errors. It's easy to be...

Hi Steinie, If this is true, then I'll need to change the trueSpace FAQs and other posts. But I'm fairly sure that the Workspace-only version is the "Standard" version. Here is why: tr...

Re: What the ....!?

Hi Kurt, I don't know if trueBlue's "unofficial update" has any bearing on the display button specifically, but it does fix a number of buttons with problems. trueBlue is a long-time trueSpace expert and senior member of the Caligari trueSpace forums. His "unofficial updates" fix a number or "bugs"...

Re: Workspace OBJ Package Released!

Thanks froo!!! I just sent a message to Dennis to order the upgrade, too. I originally purchased the Obj Importer through him. Caution: It is not good to list someone's email address in a message---especially as a "mailto" link as you did. It makes it very easy for spambots to capture and then Denn...

Re: trueSpace and wooden rings?!?!

Great news, frank! Congratulations to you AND your wife on your new daughter!!! :bananalove: I tried your test page with Internet Explorer 8 and it works fine. However, I dislike asymmetry (when it can be avoided) and have one suggestion: Change the layout so there are 12 wood samples per row (you ...

Re: Color Pickers.

Hi Prodigy, When a color picker is needed, I recommend using one that supports the HSB (hue, saturation, brightness) model. It is sometimes labeled "HSV" or "HSL". It's advantage is that you can easily select multiple shades of the same color. For example, if you start with an orange color with a h...
