Re: HDRI / environmental lighting in workspace

Hi Hatchetman, YafaRay4tS (the Workspace Side trueSpace XML exporter for the open-source YafaRay renderer) does appear to provide partial support for HDRI. Jack Edwards can speak more intelligently about this (he's one of the principal developers of the YafaRay4tS add-on). According to the Developm...

Re: IK Rig Vid Links

Thanks froo and v3rd3. I must confess some frustration at having to get another extraction tool. IMHO, only common compression formats should be used in public forums and websites---unless there is a really, really compelling reason otherwise (which I don't think is the case here). After all, Windo...

Re: IK Rig Vid Links

Hi froo,

I downloaded the first one and don't know what to do with it. It has the unfamiliar file name extension "7z" and I tried renaming it to "zip" but WinZip 11.1 can't open it. What do I need to extract the videos?

Best regards, First Light

They are a part of the full version of trueSpace 7.61 (with both the Model Side and Workspace Side). I...

Re: Question for professionals

Hi marcel, I originally got trueSpace for professional work around 1994. The following illustration contains my first 3D objects: the inductor (red coil of wire) on the left and the capacitor (blue object) in the middle. http://gccphoto.smugmug.com/photos/616920323_MPp7Q-O.jpg The illustration is s...

Re: What Software do you own/use?

Greetings, Here's my list. Like everyone else, I'm really good with some programs and I'm clueless with others. :) If I was to pick the programs that I'm most proficient with it would be Adobe Illustrator CS2, Photoshop CS2, Visual Basic, and all of the Harris Tech speaker design and photography pr...
