i was more thinking about car horn from 1920s, just the rubber thing is missing, but someone must have brought ti here, its too much terrain for a car... or maybe some part of sirene from that nearby fence?

i personally doubt that tS will write more than 2,3(ish) gigs to any memory. but i dont know. Where is Roman anyway, he was here some time ago.

which file is a tS cache/buffer? How large is it when you work with bigger scene? I have a feeling that tS doesnt save that much, but i dont really know, so i would like to have some facts about it. Maybe there is something about it.

SSD? nope it will not speed it up. tS is pretty small.
