Re: [Blog] Trinumedia

[Blog] Modeling is Relaxing It's so nice to get back to it. I tried using Blender 2.8/Bforartists 2, but I was a bit.. rusty. I have a deadline, so best to zen model in something I know. So relaxing! I love pushing poly's. Started getting back to creative work due to a client finally wanting 3D work...

Re: TG shaders pack full for shaderlab2 available

That's very kind of him. Would be great to see him drop by! :bananacheers:

I've used Shader Lab a long time ago, it was my first time ever using procedural materials, and I had a blast.

I made my first Alkathosk creatures glow in the dark materials with it.

Re: Bforartists 2 Alpha 0.4.0 released

Giant work Tiles...but exploring the interface i can't find any option about booleans operations...so can't subtract sphere from the cube in picture... It also looks like the cube is subtracting from the sphere. The boolean modifier is not on the driver, but the driven - so you'd add the boo...

Re: Bforartists 2 Alpha 0.4.0 released

You would have to use the Boolean modifier. Right now it is a multistep process. bforartists_2019-05-07_08-07-24.png And there you can change the settings in the modifier stack bforartists_2019-05-07_08-10-28.png bforartists_2019-05-07_08-09-26.png Alternatively, you can activate the Bool Tool addon...

Re: trueSpace Procedural Animation

Like most DirectX engines or game engines, the quantity of objects (despite geometry count) will affect performance heavily. So having one cached mesh then instanced multiple times in the 3D space will dramatically drop your GPU/CPU ram (instead of one new mesh taking up a processing slot each copy)...

Re: trueSpace Procedural Animation

Yeah, I hit that cap a lot with my work in trueSpace. It was one of the principal reasons I jumped ship, oh and the hard rigging with shear bugs I found with local/world matrices... Blender also has a bad cap on geometry but handles instances a bit better. There is a way to work around this issue in...
