Re: Workflow..and TS..

Totally agree. Interface and workflow are 50% of the job. Tools are about 30%. Talent does the rest. Regarding the rendering features, Simon has made an incredible thing with Dribble that allows 3Delight's 64bits renderer within a trueSpace 3D window. Although I mostly render with V-Ray and Lightwor...

Re: Losing AntiAlias while using Primal Particles FX

Primal Particles is somehow a post-processing feature : it applies after the meshes are rendered. This is why you get no antialiasing even if you select Antialiasing 4x in the render settings. Depending on your scene, I see two different workarouds : 1. Double the resolution of your rendering, then ...

Re: Rotate all objects inside a group

I wonder if tS6.6 SDK would allow for a sort of scripting tool, like the way Photoshop script works. For example, press a START RECORDING button that would record every action on a given object, like add x meters to location X, add x degrees in rotation Y, expand size x time in Z direction, etc... t...

Could it be used to make iso tile sets?
Sure. Modeler's snapping and collision tools, plus the grid and a few other tools (like RotateLeft.tsx & RotateRight.tsx, and also the usefull V2M.tsx among others), are turning iso illustration into a child play.

was it you who created this tsx?

I've made this icon in 2007 yes ; that was a project but I don't think I ever created the tsx you are showing. Perhaps I've sent the PNG to someone who did it... sorry I don't remember. My memory is faulty.

Does this tSX actually works ?

Isometric cameras to download (Modeler side)

I just finished a project to render in isometric style. That's the first time is do an illustration in isometric/toon style and I like it a lot. TrueSpace is great at such things. preview airport.jpg An isometric camera is available in Workspace side, but there is none in Modeler. I wish I could bui...

Re: "Look at" not working properly in 7.61 MODELside

Is the Bridge turned on ? In modelside trueSpace animation, the bridge should be switched OFF to prevent such unexpected behaviors. I am using the Look_At feature a LOT in my animations, both in autorecord and manual record and it works for me. Note that I don't use trueSpace 7.61 version though : o...

Re: Latest animation work

Very nice ! The rythm is a bit fast to me. Some lag between the sequences would help to understand how everything works together. On the technical side, this is a 10/10 rank though : you are mastering your tool ! Like Bitkar, I would love to know how you made the transparency effects, how you did th...
