Re: Good, free 3d paint application - Suggestions?
SanpperTrx take a look at some of the artwork I have painted: http://united3dartists.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=530" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; All of them have been painted and textured using trueSpace and Sculptris. For me this is all I need. Marcel has done a...

Re: Good, free 3d paint application - Suggestions?
What about Blender? Does it have texture painting ability? Ha ha! I have heard they are very good, but the idea of trying to learn anything in Blender is overwhelming and also downright irritating after using TS. TS is like a Lamborghini with a steering wheel, motor, brake/gas pedals and a stick fo...

Good, free 3d paint application - Suggestions?
Can anyone suggest a good, free application for painting on a texture while its on the model? I have searched online and have seen so many different things it makes my head spin. I have tried using TS, but the paintbrush is so small it takes forever, even after scaling it up. Thanks for any suggesti...

Re: Sonja Black - Lethal Weapons
They represent active mana, since the weapon is magick. I don't know if I will keep them clear crystal like that. I was thinking of making them emissive materials. Maye Ill whip up a test while I'm working on some testing.Draise wrote:I do have a question. . . what are the crystal rings for?

Sonja Black - Lethal Weapons
Sonja Black wielding Slash - gunblade version. I can already see issues that need to be fixed in the gunblade model, especially where the handle meets the body, but I will tend to that later. In the meantime, enjoy.

Gunblade complete
Well, 99.8% complete. I can already see a few minor things I want to tweak, but here is gunblade Slash. For those of you who don't know, Slash is a living weapon I created in my paper based RPG. He once belonged to the god of the dead until an unfortunate and violent turn of events caused him to fin...

Re: My namesake - Snapper
Well, technically I can pose it then export it as a .obj, but I don't know of any way to import the figure, bone structure and all, into TS. It just becomes a static object.BNG wrote:Interesting bro. Are you able to load the model into Truespace?

Re: My namesake - Snapper
Please understand that the model and textures are NOT MINE! They belong to Sixus1 at Renderosity, whom I purchased the model from. I don't have the talent to pull this off. And, yes, the textures are incredibly awesome. I believe they are iRAY optimized. I am only going to be making changes to the m...

My namesake - Snapper
So I bought this great character from Renderosity, a big mutant alligator named Hal Patterson. Why Hal Patterson? I have no clue, but this is a model I have trying to find for years! I am not good at modelling organics, and not for lack of trying, but more for lack of practicing, so I have never bee...
