Re: New Robot Leg Design

Okay so while the first set of legs were a proof of concept you will find that this set has grown quite a bit. Legs.jpg IMG_20190324_065715.jpg Oh and you say where is the rest well here it is. IMG_20190324_065744.jpg And if you are wondering what the heck is in that body/head I will tell you but fi...

New Robot Leg Design

From our failures we learn and gain more knowledge to make the next attempt even more successful. Lord knows I have gone head to head with the school of hard knocks more than one time and have learned much. I have been working on several different designs in legs for a biped. The larges problem that...

This becomes very time consuming and you are guessing to some degree as to the angle of movement. I took some time and wrote some soft...

Re: Wow!

TrueSpace has always been a great modeling/animation tool. From version 1.0 to the present. I remember being in the beta tester group and just as quick as someone would say "what about this" Roman and the programmers would have it already added. It was very difficult keeping up with it. You almost ne...

Re: Robot Head

Thank you Steinie. Wires will be hidden to some degree. This is just a proof of concept/ prototype for the larger one that will be done. Did redesign the pivot brackets and found that 5mm was not enough had to go with 10 but only the thigh brackets needed changed. The walk cycle is better but still ...

Re: Robot Head

Okay so here is the new and improved robot that has the hip joints changed to lean. I also redesigned the main body/chest so that the servos for the hips would be inside the body and not attached on the outside. This reduced the total height by about 10mm which is great as it give it more stability....

Oddly enough I actually designed some skates, will take like 12 hours each to print but once he is up and walking the way I want will be trying this.

Re: My new house is haunted

We had some odd things go on in our house at one time and it can be creepy. There is some software you can get for free that will help you. The software is called ContaCam and it is used for security but does motion detection and has a scheduler built in. I would suggest downloading the software and...
