Hey folks. First of all, thanks to everyone who answered my questions about getting pyrocluster up and running. Now that I've played with it a little, I realized that I've not got a clue what I'm doing (lol). I've still got a copy of TrueSpace FX, which I'm gonna use to figure out a few things, but ...

I just mean there's no tsx file, so I'm not entirely sure how to access pyrocluster. It's been years since I used it, so I'm sure I'm forgetting something simple. i did get it to install though by temporarily renaming ts6.exe to ts5.exe. Pyrocluster was slower but gave some nice looking smoke effects that can't easily be achieved in ppfx. The particles are geometry, hence the slower renders. Unfortunately, I still can't get mine to run as the file type won't load into TS and I've not yet had the chance to experiment....

Hmmm... Can't get pyrocluster to install in 6.6.... seems it needs ts5. anyone know a workaround? I'm a little dumb when it comes to this stuff....

Pyrocluster is still supported? I have it on one of my old truespace pak cds but never bothered to reinstall because I heard getting an authentication code (or something like that) was next to impossible. Has this changed? I'd love to know because I'd like to use it.
