Ambassadors

A growing list of our most valuable members..

Paul Woodward is a man of many talents. The artist behind the icons in trueSpace7.5, he has also written and illustrated many children's books, created the spoof series of "Pepe the pig" film posters, and uses 3D in teaching his technology and design classes at school.

As well as being a direct inspiration for his students, he is also an inspiration to the Caligari community with his humor and ceaseless energy in producing new artwork, which he is often willing to share as work-in-progress images from start to finish.

Stephen Britton ("Mad Mouse" on the forums!) is an incredible artist, showing considerable skill in the fields of modeling, texturing and lighting, combined with a great sense of fun and humor. He also shares much of the growth and development of his images in the forums, allowing others see how his work develops from start to finish.

He actively posts beyond the Caligari website, aiming to get trueSpace the recognition it deserves. His artwork certainly speaks volumes about what trueSpace can do, as seen on his website for example, and that is why he is now a Gold Ambassador.

He has been producing amazing work with trueSpace for many many years. Most of his work is visualisation work done for large manufacturing companies such as Sony, Western Digital, and even defence contracts.

Due to the demanding nature of these clients, most of his work requires a high degree of precision and realism, and all with a fast turn-around to meet deadlines. Being able to repeatedly and consistently turn out such work over many years has earned Griff his place as a Gold Ambassador.

Augusto (Prodigy) is an active member of the regular community forums, and over time has become best known for being able to produce amazing models and imagery at a very quick pace! He is a regular contributor in the speed modeling contests, and even some of his stunning commercial work has been turned around in very short timescales.

His thoughts and ideas on the main community forums also resulted in him being added to the beta team, and in recent weeks he has become a regular attendee at Thursday Night Live! events, sharing some of his tips and techniques and showing in a live performance how he models and creates.

Emmanuel Asset has been involved in an incredibly diverse variety of work and projects using trueSpace, from designing some of the largest speaker horns in the world, to undertaking architectural visualisation, through to design real-time environments.

He also actively works to see trueSpace improved, providing valuable feedback on real-world workflows, and has produced amazing images using many versions of the software, all of which gets him his well deserver Gold Ambassador status.

Matthew was an early subscriber to the power of scripting when trueSpace7 was released, and in fact produced one of the first courses on what could be achieved with scripting.

Since then he has continued to learn about scripting and to share with others what he has learned, active on the beta and regular forums in pushing forward on what can be achieved with scripts.

Jim has been an active gameSpace user for quite a few years now, first rising to prominence with a nicely modeled Mini Cooper which netted him runner up in the gameSpace Summer Shootout contest in 2004.

A master of producing great looking low poly models, Jim has also always been willing to share everything from models to tutorials to advice and help over on the gameSpace forums, where he is a valuable and well-respected community member.

"Steinie" is one of the most active users on the Caligari Community forums. Always willing to share a WIP, to enter work into outside contests, to offer help, or even just be there with a witty comment, he helps the forums be a great place to be.

He also appears in the Caligari monthly image galleries, and has recently been using real-time renders to enter (you can have fun trying to decide which is real-time and which is offline!), and entering his work to other galleries won him the External Gallery contest in September 2007.

Vickie Eagle is well known in the Community for her work in the gaming and game graphics, including low poly characters - indeed, her work in these fields earned her employment with Solstar Games!

As well as her constant high rankings in several contests, she is also always active on the forums, ready to share hints, tips, or even free models, and it is that which won her the External Gallery contest in December of 2007, promoting her to Gold Ambassador status.
