Array Tool

Post by LeonRegis »

How can I use a radial array tool and then use the grid array? Seems that you can only use one per object and I need to apply two it to just one object... there is a way to flatten history in model side, or something like that?

Thanks in Advance

There is an array option to change an array into a group. Maybe you could then apply the grid array to that group.

Thank you, but where is that option?

Here is a test.

First I made a radial array of cubes.
Then I tried to apply the grid array to the radial array. That didn't work.
I applied the convert array to group tool (icon is with the array tools) to the radial array.
The grid array tool did work and I made a grid of groups.

Thank you, but before you do it I just go to LE and deleted the array tool parameters, so this is kind of workaround. Thank you!
