Well I'm now officially another step closer to giving up a modelling career for piloting....you got no idea how much I wanna do that

BUT
I'm not so sure that video's entirely possible....they're alphajets not Pitts specials so I'm not sure how they would have managed such tight loops to do the wings on his helmet, ad if they corckscrewed towards the camera how did they manage to keep the perspective, or even managed to keep the smoke in the air without dissipating?

But you never know, if it actually did happen with no editing hats off to them

the tribute to Asterix with planes was simply amazing! Happy Birthday to Asterix - the world will celebrate.

I was recently lucky enough to find some Asterix comics (and also many wonderful TinTin comics) in a used book shop (going out of business sale - darn...). the cast of characters is HUGE and would be a help to anyone needing inspiration for 3D models. I have been a fan since i was young - not quite for all 50 of Asterix's years but very close... .

thanks again for including U3DA's forum members in today's celebrations!

Even if this is an edition is a good tribute and I love Asterix when I was kid I saw all movies even those with real persons

I have a huge collection of old comic book. The most since my childhood. I have all the first editions of Tintin and Asterix. But my best series are first editions of Flash Gordon 1930s and Prince Valiant. I have a lot of reviews most recent (only 35 years

) of Marvel Comics Group. My oldest comic book is Little Nemo (1920) and one of the most fantastic comic book I know. Delirium is a technique of creation as the 3d is a manufacturing technique. I think that our world lacks of poetry when he relies too much on technology.

I loved to read Asterix & Obelix in my teenage years. My parents found my old albums at the attic of their house. When my son become in the age of listening to stories I read them to him and he stills love Asterix. He has inherit them, my old Asterix & Obelix albums.
