Dribble will not load in Win 7 64 bit

Post by splinters »

Ok, maybe there is some other problem or I did something wrong but I just installed Win 7 premium 64 bit and when I tried to load dribble I got the tsx extension error message. Anyone know of problems with Win 7/64 bit OS and dribble?
Sorry if it has already been discussed but I cannot find anything.

Cheers

I don't think this is the problem, but dribble only works with the 32bit version of 3delight, regardless of what os you are using. I think this may be something else, though, if the tsx itself won't load. Have you tried 7.6?

I tried to install the 32 bit version and was warned that it was not compatible (or am I imagining that bit?) so I put the 64 bit version in. I can try the 32 bit version, do you think that will sort it?

I am using ts7.6, I gave up on 7.61 beta some time ago. Everything else seems fine and I can load other tsx's.

I don't think there is any problem in theory installing the 32bit 3delight on 64bit windows os. It's worth a try, anyway...

FWIW, I do/did my development on 64-bit Windows 7, so it definitely works. You just need the 32-bit version of 3Delight installed.

Has anyone tried installing both 32 and 64 bit versions of 3Delight, then outputting .rib from dribble and rendering manually to compare speed?
