no model

i can't seem to get to the model side
tryed resetting to default
even uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck

Version 7.61 does not include Model side.

Not exactly.
7.61 exist with model side. Snow have a standalone version with only the workspace. it is the only one you can download from the caligari forum since a few month.

how or where can i get the 7.6 that does have it

There is 3 versions:
7.6 with model side
7.61 with modelside
7.61 standalone version (your version).
unfortunately only the standalone version is available to download today (because a problem of license with Lightwork, the render engine of the modelside). It is an old story now. Maybe you can try to find the others version on internet. But i am not sure if it is legal even if the soft is free (?)

tS76.exe
or
tS761Beta8.exe
or
tS761Beta8Std.exe (seem to be your version)
