Question about "Easter" around the World

Hi TS Users around the earth ;)

I have a question about Easter. In Germany we coloring eggs and hide eggs (and also presents) for the kids on this day. The kids then have to find it what brings a great joy to it. I would ask if this "cult" is also practice in other countrys?

Sound a bit stupid this question but i want to know this for my next short movie i'm planning ;)

Yep, we hide easter eggs and go on egg hunts in the UK too - assuming it stops raining long enough... :D

Same in Canada, too. When I was a kid, my folks would forgo the whole bit about hiding stuff... the "Easter Bunny" would simply drop off a basket of stuff... chocolates and candy and small toys, like a kite or something. But Easter Egg hunts would apparently happen with other families.
