The thumbnails caused me no end of problem in Vista but has anyone tried them in Windows 7 (64 bit here)?
I am trying to navigate through dozens of scenes and I am rubbish at naming them so it is taking ages to find the ones I need.
Anyone tried them?
Oh, and has anyone got it at hand to email to me as I cannot get to the HD where it is stored?

Thumbnails don't work in my XP Pro 64, so I guess that feature works in 32 bits OS only

It is possible that the thumbnails work inside TS because it is a 32 bit soft. Maybe if you use an other 32 bit soft in place of explorer, you can see your thumbnails.

Well it has worked...at least for what I need. You cannot see the scenes in Windows (could you in XP?) but when I go to load scene through the file menu it now shows a thumbnail of the scene so I can now see what I am loading.
Just thought this might be of use to other Win 7 users....

there is a 3d viewer named alteros witch can show the .scn of TS. It cost about 30$ but you can try it several days. it show the scenes as a thumbnail page and you can open and move the scene before use TS. Also it show different 2d and 3d files. I don't know if it work with seven. Maybe that can be interesting to manage your archives.

I just found the original 3d exploration program. Doesn't seem to need registering and you can view tS scenes in 3D...pretty cool.

After a period of try, you need to buy a license to register. i don't know other soft witch can show a truespace scene. My period of try is finish but i don't remember to have a problem on vista (32 bits). no idea if it work with seven.splinters wrote:I just found the original 3d exploration program.
