This is Hear-O. When his super hearing detects trouble he notifies other superheroes who stop the villain.
Still working on his legs, feet, and face.
He started as a sphere and point editing with lots of sweeps and moving and scaling created the shape. I used the mirror modeler for the first time on this project.

Re: Finis - Cartoon Character Challenge Wip
Thanks y'all.
Here he is with legs, feet, and some adjustments to his face. I won't make any more muscles or much more detail for him since I can't spend too long on this. He will get a texture for a costume. No time right now to learn Daz or Messiah to rig and pose him. He needs eyes. Suggestions?

Hehe, I'm really starting to like this character.
Maybe a little more complex hands, longer fingers perhaps. As for the eyes, he could have bug-eyes or catlike eyes. When posing, those ears could give him a very defining look, make sure you make him look heroic

Yes, some work on the hands needed. No posing due to no time to do it. Here are some textures. Not sure about them yet. He has eyes but detail needed there. Bug eyes advantages: easy geospheres and unfocused look is like cartoon blind eyes giving impression that he can see but it isn't his main sense.
I thought about re-proportioning him but realized that would make him more human. I'll leave him humanoid.
To do: maybe some face work for eyelids or detail around there, hands, texture and suit logo.

Re: Finis - Cartoon Character Challenge Wip
Here he is with a symbolic sound logo. It was difficult to put the logo on. The material rectangle icon was not active so I made the texture with a lot of extra space around it. Room to move and scale it. Then I selected the suit polygons and applied cylindrical UV. I added a second layer to the suit texture and used scale and offsets to place the logo. TS crashed when trying to apply it with the replace material function. That stopped when I changed render from raycast to scanline.
I changed his face for the eyes and changed his hands.
What about his clothes? He looks Jack LaLane. Should his suit be as is, short sleeve, full sleeve, or what?
James, if I have time I might make another one with those. Good logo!
DarkScythe, I worked on his hands. Big feet? Has potential.
trueSpace 7.6 model side.

Now he has a shirt. I used Look At to point each eye at an object in front of him so he won't have the 1000 yard stare. I'll make a scene for him. Proabably standing on a balcony high on a building listening.
