Amazing, so there is kind of demo soft that has all features but with limitations? And also if you buy that 900$ version it will be updated by time or you need to buy the next version and so on?
Thanks
V-ray the best!

Re: Vray Standalone for Truespace - Project.
Is this the same Standalone as the one for Rhino or Sketchup?
I saw instructions for VRay usage at Blender.org is this the same version?
Then I see a version for 3Dmax...are these all the same software but with code to support
that particular application?

Is the same for Blender, Maya and i think yes.. sketch up, etc..
The problem with max, is that max has full integration (in the same +- way than ts vray..) but to make the same lvl of integration you'll need the vray sdk etc.. something impossible in our minds.. Just remember the TS experience...

Maybe the Max integration is much better than the tS was. I saw beautiful work with 3dmax and vray and seems that is the right combination or they at least combined in the right way (they did wrong with tS). Please answer my questions too...

go to chaosgroup.com register an account if you don't have one yet..
Then click on downloads, there press over maya and you can download any maya 2010 if you want 32 or 64bits.. it has the vray maya integration including the standalone version..
